Mandee's Interesting Series

Well You have reached the end of my collection. The story behind this interesting series is simple. One day a girl went for a walk in the woods not too far from her home and stumbled upon this old, but interesting graveyard. A graveyard of Vintage Cars! :) This girl fell in love almost instantly and wanted to share it with her wonderful Photography Classmates, here ends the story of a girl and the graveyard of vintage cars.

Guess my Theme...

Did you figure it out?? If you guessed "lights" then you are correct.
I found this very difficult. I had to use a very slow shutter speed and I found out that if a car came it ruined the pictures! :(
I'm still not sure how to make the lights not so blurry... oh well, maybe next time.

Sandalyn's Portraits

Here are some of my shots. This first shot I just couldn't resist. I hate cleaning my own frig

My daughter and her dog are next, luckily the sun was shining. They have a great time together.

Here is my self-portrait with a selected background. And a gradient may face. I felt it accentuated my gray hair. Then I changed the image by going to gradient map.

My last picture is a story. I had been watching this gnarly log for three to four days wanting to take pictures of it. I knew it wouldn't stay long and thought someone would push it over the bank for fill. I finally found time and took alot of pictures of it's texture and history. Twenty minutes later I came back by and this man was cutting it into smaller pieces. I felt that I needed to take this picture also.

Taran-Rae in a winter's day. Outside shot on a hay ride on the back of Uncle Dave's four wheeler. Another shot that followed 2/3 rule. In addition I changed up the color balance in photo shop to remove the cyan and blue from the bright natural light of the day.
My right eye, a self-portrait. I prefer to be on the back side of the camera lens.
Another outdoor shot - I applied the two-thirds composition rule.
Dave is an outdoorsy kind of guy. This picture required the manipulation of color levels to remove cyan and blue as it is an outdoor shot on a bright snowy day.

Five portraits

The first portrait that I took was of a person working one the telephone wires, which I don't know. Second portrait I took was of me. 3rd and the 4th one was of Jay Peak, I took the portraits on my way up to work and though they would be very nice to take. The last one I took was of my mom's boyfriend.

Portraits

This is Aaron. He gets really silly when he's tired. I thought the angle of this shot portrayed his crazy little character.
