Here are my Scans for the Scanography project. All Pictures were edited for dust, color balance and shading were done. I wanted to use some filters so I did a plastic wrap filter on the fairy which I thought turned out rather interesting and then I did a darker version of my Slipknot Mask. I know all three Scans have to have some sort of close theme so I wanted something to discribe who I am. The Fairy is a symbol of the Child in me. I have a very wild yet free imagination so what better to symbolize that then a fairy scene. Next is my darker side which I wanted to symbolize with the Mask. I love gothic, dark, strange and macabre art (If some of you haven't already guest) plus on many occasions I have had a strange sense of humor so The Mask suits me well. Finally I have been told I have a thoughtful and caring side so I thought I would do something a little light and "air-y" so to speak. So I used a big flower, some brightly colored paper and a "Just as sweet as can be" sticker! I think that pretty much sums up some of the things that symbolize who I am! :) Enjoy!
